Liquid-Oxygen Blasting Explosives

These are mixtures of a combustible absorbent material, usually carbon black or lampblack, and liquid oxygen. They have been used in large-scale mining and stripping operations, because they are sometimes more economically feasible than other high explosives when used in high quantity.
